Merit Health Wesley Welcomes Curtis Herrin as Chief Financial Officer

Hattiesburg - Merit Health Wesley welcomes Curtis Herrin back to the Pine Belt, as he begins his role as the chief financial officer. Herrin previously served as the controller for Merit Health Wesley from 2004 to 2007.
“Curtis has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare finance,” said Chief Executive Officer Matthew Banks. “His experience, combined with his knowledge of our hospital, makes him the perfect fit for this position."
Herrin comes to Merit Health Wesley from Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL, where he served as chief financial officer for two years. Throughout Herrin's career, he has served in several healthcare finance positions and has more than 13 years of experience as a chief financial officer.
Originally from Utah, Herrin attended Utah State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting. Herrin and his family are excited for the opportunity to once again call the Pine Belt home.
